Holy crap, Netflix just made an amazing deal for the rights to Mark Millar’s universe. This is wild because “Millarworld” is an incredible idea created by Mark Millar. It takes the majority of his independent novels and puts them in the same universe. Incredible stories like Wanted and Reborn.

Mark Millar is one of Seppin’s favorite writers, so this is really awesome to see this happen.

Here are Netflix chief content officer’s statements:

“As creator and re-inventor of some of the most memorable stories and characters in recent history, ranging from Marvel’s The Avengers to Millarworld’s Kick-Ass, Kingsman, Wanted and Reborn franchises, Mark is as close as you can get to a modern day Stan Lee,”

He continued to say that they are happy to work on these projects.

The writer also noted that Kingsman and Kick-Ass have separate Hollywood deals and are not a part of the Netflix acquisition, “but those two fine men are toasting us in spirit from London and California respectively.”
