Hey everyone and welcome back to the Tuesday ‘Monday’ Draft where we pick characters for movies and cast actors for them. Since yesterday was a holiday we are posting the article today. This week we are going to be diving into the extensive rogues gallery for the Bat. So let us start….

Two – Face
Harvey, Harvey, Harvey Dent. This psychotic was actually the district attorney until an accident caused his face to be horribly disfigured and he gave into a darker persona he had kept hidden for years before. He definitely is one of Batman’s most interesting opponents since he relies on his double sided coin to decide people’s fates. During the Forever Evil event we actually saw him become more of a vigilante in Gotham which was pretty cool. So it would be nice to see him as a bit of an anti-hero, or how we saw him in BTAS. But lets find some guys…

Mel Gibson
Okay, listen to me now… If we are talking about The Dark Knight Returns Harvey Dent, then I think Mel Gibson is perfect. We now have an older Batman and they could make it feel like these two young Bachelors went down two very different roads towards vengeance. Mel Gibson could do it. Plus we all know that he can go crazy.

Thomas Jane
The Punisher as Two-Face, dare I say more? We’ve already seen Thomas Jane as a great Punisher, but he needs new work and “Frankly” we wouldn’t mind if he was more of an anti-hero kind of two-face. We are not sure though, what do you think?

Penguin
Oswald Cobblepot was born into a wealthy family much like our Bat, but his father died of pneumonia first which made his mother force him to carry an umbrella around and caused him to get bullied constantly, and it even made him an outcast in high society which led him to a life of crime. Of course he only dresses in style when he does business as you can see in the image above.

Joaquin Phoenix
We just want this guy to play any of Batman’s rogues, but he could be great for Penguin. He is great at acting calm and then getting all murderous and psycho just like Penguin.

Paul Giamatti
This is a hard casting to convince any studio head, but we think that he is a great actor and could nail the look as well as the business side of Penguin. We think that he could go absolutely nuts with this role. Plus he works for Warner Bros often.

Catwoman
Selena Kyle was raised homeless on the streets and eventually was all alone and created her own little niche for her new “family”. Selena became an expert thief quickly since she needed to survive. She became the Catwoman long before Batman, but it gave her a reason to use the persona. She has always been shown as an anti-hero and love interest for Bruce, but recently (before they canceled it) we saw her becoming a mob boss in a way, which was entirely different but also incredibly interesting.

Eva Green
She’s already worked with a Zack Snyder project and was in Sin City: A Dame to Kill for. As we saw in Casino Royale she is great at backstabbing the main character. So why not let her be Catwoman. Heck, she could probably get Catwoman a solo movie if she were to do a good job, especially with the Birds of Prey movie in the works.

Rachel McAdams
Rachel McAdams is a great actress and could be a great counterpart to Ben Affleck’s Batman. She’s already played the role in those Sherlock Holmes films with RDJ and her turn on True Detective was extremely compelling.
Thoughts?
