Hey everyone! It’s been quite some time since our last news post on the blog, but yesterday was a good day for gamers as Summer Game Fest officially kicked off with a load of new game trailers. The other day during the Summer Game Fest stream, the developers of DC’s Gotham Knights at WB Montreal released a new trailer highlighting one of their playable characters, Nightwing!

Honestly, the gameplay seems to keep that fast-paced action from the Arkham games which is probably the only reason I liked this trailer. It looks smooth and this Gotham without Batman might be interesting to explore.
With that said, I hate these outfits for Dick Grayson. The first one reminds me of Ric Grayson, which if you’ve read my Rek’s Rant on Ric Grayson, then you know why I hate that this story arc is getting any attention whatsoever. And the second one has the pony tail, which I think is a clever nod to the 90s Nightwing look, but its got this strange Japanese samurai feel to the suit that doesn’t work for me.
I’m a huge Nightwing fan and, honestly, the only suit I’d be interested in switching out the main suit for would be for Jim Lee’s design since it is the only one that reminds me of Nightwing.
*sighs*
Sorry about the rant. I thought this game would be crossplay and only realized that it wasn’t yesterday when I decided to look it up.
