Kurt Russell’s Character Confirmed

Kurt Russell’s character was confirmed last night at Comic Con and he will be playing ‘Ego’ in Guardian’s of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Yes, he is playing a living planet and somehow he was able to father a child, Peter Quill a.k.a. Starlord (allegedly)

We would have never guessed that Russell would play one of the weirdest villains in the Marvel universe. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Ego first appeared as a Thor villain, but has also battled Nova, the Silver Surfer, Galactus, and the Fantastic Four. As his name suggests, Ego is an actual living planet, complete with a brain, a digestive system and an immune system. He also possesses extremely powerful psionic powers.

We really are somewhat speechless and…wow, are we going to see a giant Kurt Russell head? That might be…interesting.
