Minecraft Movie

Warner Bros. has nabbed Wonder Woman screenplay writer Jason Fuchs to come up with the hugely popular computer game Minecraft film’s latest draft. Jon Spaihts, who wrote the Doctor Strange screenplay, was behind the first draft for the film before it was handed over to Fuchs. Fuchs is now working with director Rob McElhenney on developing the latest script.

Fuchs original draft for Wonder Woman was set aside by director Patty Jenkins for another version by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, but in addition to Minecraft, Fuchs will also be working as a screenwriter for the upcoming Lobo film.

Minecraft is set to release on May 25, 2019.
