We finally have a date for the Legion premiere, well, sort of. An announcement was made on Twitter yesterday that the show will premiere on FX in February 2017.
Legion, the X-Men show will focus on Professor X’s son David Haller and since he was a teenager, David has struggled with mental illness. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.
Marvel has also released a brand new teaser trailer highlighting some of the powers Haller has, and his insanity.
It is a bit strange that since February isn’t that far away that no actual date was given, but hopefully we will hear more soon.
