In April of 2015, Telltale announced the developing of a game using the Marvel license, set to debut in the year 2017. Well it seems production is underway, and the identity of the game has been revealed, albeit in an unusual way.
So, if you are not aware, there has been a recent strike by members of SAG-AFTRA, a voice acting union. To negotiate better wages across the industry, the organization released a list of games that currently did not struck any new deals. Among the list is a game titled Guardians Of The Galaxy- The Video Game aka Blue Harvest, attributed to “O’Farrel Enterprises, LLC”. The same company is listed below the Guardians entry as also developing the third season of one of Telltale’s largest franchises, The Walking Dead.

We have to be honest, we were a little surprised that they went with Guards, we were expecting a Spiderman series, but we’re going to keep an open mind. Unfortunately until this dispute is settled, we won’t be getting it any time soon. It’s another reason why there are several games pushed back.
