A teaser trailer for the live action version of the beloved anime, Fullmetal Alchemist, was released yesterday and we see our first look at the Elric brothers live and in action for the first time.
The teaser is a fairly short, only 30 seconds, so we mostly see shots of Edward Elric from behind as he uses his alchemist powers against enemies. There’s a quick glance at his baby brother Alphonse, though, whose metal suit of armor is rendered in CGI for the film.
We also get to see the European setting, which is in keeping with the original anime and manga series. Fullmetal Alchemist was filmed in Italy earlier this spring. No release date has been set as of yet, but we’ll let you know when we have more info.
