Mel Gibson Directing Suicide Squad 2?

Hey everyone! Last week, news hit the web that Mel Gibson was talking with Warner Bros. to direct Suicide Squad 2. Talks are still in the first stages, but this is a very curious choice for director since Gibson has always been against the superhero movie genre and has said that he will never direct a movie with people in spandex.

Suicide Squad would be perfect then, since we know nobody on the squad rocks out a pair of tights.
