We’re going to put this in the ‘This is kind of Huge News Column’, the next X-Men movie not only has an official title, but a release date.
Yes, we are getting a X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie!
We had heard the rumors and rumblings, but to get confirmation is awesome. The Dark Phoenix story is one of the best with Jean Grey and the Phoenix Force. The powerful telepath eventually transforms into Dark Phoenix, one of the universe’s greatest threats. They tried to do something in X-Men: The Last Stand, but we all know how that turned out…in fact, let’s not talk about that movie.
The movie is shooting for a November 2, 2018 release.
Fox also released the date for The New Mutants movies and they are looking at a April 2, 2018 release.
And the sequel we’ve all been waiting for…Deadpool 2 will debut in theaters June 1, 2018!
Oh yeah, 2018 is going to be an amazing year for comic book movies!
