Next line in the SeppinRek timeline revealed

Hey, readers!

It has been quite a while since I’ve returned to this site. So much has changed, and yet nothing has. Writing is still an important part of mine and my brother’s lives.

I’m happy to announce that our newest installment in the SeppinRek timeline is soon to be released on Amazon Kindle in the coming weeks. And it would feel wrong to release the book without announcing it on our blog like we’ve always done in the past.

In case you haven’t seen my Instagram post, our next published work is…

The Misadventures of a Petty God

Misadventures of a Petty Good book cover
The Misadventures of a Petty God will release on Oct. 30.

This is an absurdist short story collection — and something that I wasn’t expecting to come together quite as well as it has. It’s a unique blending of characters who readers may recognize from our previous works. Yet, it is also entirely independent of the present stories, which makes it perfect for readers looking to jump right in to the world.

For more details, I will attach the blurb below:

There are few stories more adventurous or entertaining than the one you are about to embark upon, dear reader. In a tale filled with nail-biting suspense, off-kilter quips, and a colorful troupe of characters; The Misadventures of a Petty God promises to always keep you guessing.
Following the journey of a trickster deity, their hijinks impact the daily lives of normal mortals – including a comatose patient, a reservation dog, a walking corpse and a ball of nerves. This brings them to the forefront of a godly rivalry between them and Kali, the goddess of chaos. The fight to reclaim a god’s most important asset, their identity, forces the trickster on a mind-bending journey through time, space, multiple Hells and at least one morality play.
For those looking for the same-old, same-old; this short story collection is not for you. However, if you’ve also been fed up with the monotony of literary ventures and the plight many creatives face in publishing – this might be right up your alley!

The book will be published on Friday, Oct. 30.

Until next time…

~Rek
