Black Lightning Series Ordered

The CW confirmed news today that the Black Lightning show is indeed set to receive a full series pick up.

Black Lightning is expected to premiere during the mid-season because the show has only filmed its pilot episode as of right now The series, which will star Cress Williams (Hart of Dixie) as Jefferson Pierce, will follow the hero after he has already hung up his altar ego years earlier. It isn’t until his daughters (Thunder & Lightning) find themselves pulled in various bits of trouble that Pierce will return as the wanted vigilante Black Lightning.

We’re actually really excited for this show and can’t wait to see some footage!
