This piece of news caught our eye. Newly acquired director for the Han Solo Movie, Ron Howard, posted this on Twitter yesterday:
“A dark, strange corner.”
It’s an interesting choice of words and not ones we would expect for a Han Solo movie. It makes us wonder if this is why directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, were fired from the project more than halfway through.Obviously the Lord/Miller team is more in line with comedic projects and perhaps this was not the direction Disney wanted to go.
The movie is still set to open in May 2018 and we’re now very curious to see what Howard has to offer.
