Wow, it feels like this show has been in development for years and we are finally getting our first look at FX’s Y: That Last Man series. It is a picture of Yorick in his usual disguise wandering the streets with an animal carrier, presumably for his pet monkey, Ampersand.
We love the direction that this show is taking and we are so glad to have a date finally attached for September 13th on FX and Hulu. The show is even closer that we all thought!
Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.
