Hey everyone! Sony just sent out another new trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, the film adaptation of Capcom’s survival horror video game. The first trailer received a rather mixed response to put it mildly, which you can find Here. Hopefully this new trailer will be better than the last one.
Anyways, let’s take a look at this new trailer!
Definitely an improvement from the last trailer, but it still has that video game movie feel to it. I like that they turned the focus in the trailer to more of the creepy horror elements of the franchise. The zombies and a few of the monsters like Lisa actually didn’t look terrible. It’s just that low budget CGI that looks absolutely disgusting, like the licker.
In other news, director Johannes Roberts announced in an interview that he would like to have the chance to adapt fan-favorite Resident Evil 4 after Welcome to Raccoon City…
Whether that will happen solely depends on the response to this first film.
So, what are your thoughts on the new Resident Evil trailer? Do you like it better than the first trailer? Let us know in the comments below!
Until next time…
