Hey everyone! This weekend has basically been taken over by the release of the long-awaited Matt Reeves’ The Batman and news has been stalled. However, today it was leaked by Deadline that Amazon Prime Video is currently looking to adapt Sony’s mythological action-adventure video game franchise, God of War, into an original TV series.
Now, take this with a grain of salt since nothing is said and done yet. However, the creators behind The Expanse, Mark Fergus and Hawk Otsby are said to have joint interest with Wheel of Time‘s executive producer Rafe Judkins in collaborating on project based around the fan favorite video games.
Definitely excited to hear more about this series if they choose to proceed with the project. Which, who doesn’t want to see Kratos rip a god’s head off their shoulders once more?
