Last night during the Gotham mid- season finale we were treated to a short teaser clip to Batman v Superman. We also found out that this Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel we will get another full length trailer for the most anticipated movie of 2016.
Check it out below and we’ll do a quick review.

Okay, so here we have Batman tied up and captured in Superman’s evil desert prison or fortress of punishment.
Looks like two random criminals or rebels, but we’re not delving too deep into who they are for one important reason which we will reveal at the end.

Batman looking pretty confident surveying his surroundings.
Let’s talk about a few details.
Ben Affleck looks like…BATMAN! It’s been debatable to show Batman’s eyes or to let his mask be lit up slits like Iron Man. We personally feel showing his eyes makes him more intimidating because you can see the intensity.
His mask is perfect. No other word for it.

Superman making quite an entrance. We have seen this before in the trailer, but now we know more about it after this clip.
Superman and his own personal army. It almost looks like Hitler’s Nazi’s with the uniforms and Superman logo on the sleeves.
It also bring to mind Wolfenstein the video game.

Here we see our first glimpse of almost fear and shock into our Dark Knight eyes.
Hmmm…

Okay, Superman looks pissed and I have to admit badass.

Oh, no he didddnnn’ttt .
He did not just take off the mask.

Superman looking at the mask with disdain.
How dare you, Clark!

Again, another shot of a mean Superman which is completely awesome and wrong all at the same time.

Best picture of Batman so far. Hands down. This is Bruce Wayne. This is Batman ready to fight.
But…
IT’S NOT REAL!
Dum, dum DUM..

Okay, our good friends at http://www.comicbook.com released this shot over the summer of the new toy/statue called, ‘Knightmare Batman’. We believe this is Bruce Wayne’s nightmare dream sequence which spooks him so much that he decides to eliminate Superman.
Batman is worried because he doesn’t know Superman and he doesn’t trust him. He also is probably worried about the government using him for their own purposes as a nuclear deterrent. He’s also freaked that with so much power, Superman could become a huge threat.
This is why Batman goes after Superman.
I like to point out that we think it is a good idea about using a dream sequence. In the Arkham games, dream sequences are the best part and although some people might not like the whole ‘It’s all a dream’, We think it is pretty cool. We also believe it helps us get into the mind of Batman and we can see his fears.
We will have a review of the new trailer as soon as we can.
