Batman v Superman opens in just over a week and the marketing for the movie is starting to reach a fever pitch. We are trying to stay on top of all the news, not only for our readers, but also because we are just as excited!
Let’s round it all up!
Ticket Sales

Deadline.com is reporting from sources both inside and outside of Warner Bros. that the studio’s massive superhero movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is selling huge numbers of opening-weekend pre-sale tickets.
The film has reportedly already earned $20-25 million, beating out the pre-sale numbers for huge hits like Deadpool, Furious 7, and Marvel’s The Avengers.
Taking into account that it is going to be Easter weekend and the start of Spring Break for a lot of families, we here at SeppinRek are predicting a domestic opening of $160 million. We are going out on a limb and combining the international projections to total upwards to $300 million for the opening weekend.
One of the biggest reasons we are aiming that high for it is because you cannot discount the fact that the movie is going to open in China simultaneously and from everything we have read, it appears to be very much anticipated in that market.
New Trailer
A new trailer was posted on the Batman v Superman Korean Facebook page. Not only does it offer a few more images, but in general it just pretty bad ass.

New Clip

Henry Cavill was on Good Morning America and he not only talked about his reprising his role as Superman in the upcoming Batman v Superman movie, but he also brought along a pretty neat clip.
The best part was seeing Affleck’s cocky billionaire Bruce Wayne say “Daily Planet… Wait, do I own this one or is that the other guy?”

Jesse Eisenberg also made a visit to GMA this morning and he brought a little present with him as well.
The Batmobile

A new video was released on the DC All Access about the designing and making the new Batmobile. It’s a pretty neat little segment.
Supercut Trailer Version

Superfan, M1llion, has put together a super-sized superhero cut of the movie to give eager fans an 11 minute sneak peek at the film.
We’re going to be honest and tell you that we are not watching this until next Thursday. We figured this would be a great way to hype ourselves up for the movie before we go and see it.
Check it out and let us know how it is!
Robin Spoiler?

Okay, we all saw the Comic-Con trailer and went nuts when we saw the desecrated Robin suit. Seppin’s first thought as he jumped up and down was that this was Jason Todd. The only thing that threw him off was the staff that Tim Drake primary uses.
It has been all over the internet that Ben Affleck just revealed a HUGE spoiler, but calm down people. We know Robin is dead. Personally, we here at SeppinRek think TWO Robin’s are presumed dead, but we’ll get to that. First read what Batfleck had to say.
“He’s bitterly disappointed in the past that he’s lost this guy who fought by his side. That character’s death must have been devastating to him, and he’s suffered,” Affleck said. “We get the sense that he’s suffered a lot of devastating losses before this movie even starts.”
Affleck also previously offered the guilt Batman harbors for whatever happened to Robin is directed toward Superman.
“He’s projecting his own sense of failure, his own sense of disillusionment, his own cynicism onto Superman,” Affleck said.
Likewise, DC Entertainment chief creative officer Geoff Johns wouldn’t confirm which Robin’s costume is featured in the Batcave.
“We’ll be exploring that,” says Johns, who has consulted on the full slate. “No one says specifically the name of which Robin that is.”
Seppin’s theory has always been that Jason Todd is indeed dead. He’s actually hoping that the suit was not only to further Batman’s cynicism, but also open the door to an Under The Red Hood movie.
The joker kills Jason Todd and then Jason is resurrected, but he comes back insane. He taunts Bruce Wayne and tried to kill the Joker. It is probably one of the best animated movies of all time and we highly suggest you watch it if you have not seen it to get a better understanding.
It has been rumored that the first solo Batman film will be Under the Red Hood and that sound you heard was Seppin pumping his fist in the air, yelling “YES!” It would be a perfect first film and it would also be a way to introduce the Bat family.
We mentioned that we think there are two Robin’s presumed dead and the other we believe is Dick Grayson. The first Robin is iconic, but his role as Nightwing and then Agent 37 is what we want to see.
We have said from the beginning that our prediction and hope is that Scott Eastwood is playing Agent 37 in Suicide Squad. We believe this for one simple reason.
There is no way Batman is letting Amanda Waller or anyone from the government be in control of all these villains that he has put away without any supervision from himself.
That’s all the news for now. We’ll continue to update you as we get closer to this epic event!
