We finally got our first look at the new Doctor Strange movie and before we take a look at the trailer, and go over each shot, let’s doing a little backstory on the sorcerer supreme.
Dr. Steven Strange was an amazing surgeon who was involved in an accident where his hands were crippled and he could not perform surgeries any longer. He travels the world to seek out any and all methods to help regain his status as a surgeon. In his travels, he encounters the Dark Arts and he is quickly drawn in to its powerful magic.

Rek: The trailer was very well done and I am very hyped for Dr. Fate…, I mean Dr. Strange.
Seppin: Woah, that was unexpected. It seemed good, and darker than the other Marvel movies. It makes me happy to see them take a darker tone to their movies. At least the ones that need it. The only concern that I have is that this turns into Thor the Dark World. The trailers depicts it as being pretty dark and then when you go and see the movie it is full of jokes and nonsense. I am hoping that is not the case. It doesn’t look it.
Steven Strange is in a car accident. Yikes, I don’t think his hand should be bending that far. Is anyone going to help this Doctor?
Jeez, he really crashed his vehicle. I mean, how does that turn so bad? He looks like he is wearing a tuxedo. Maybe he had one too many at a party?
Steven is walking through an Asian town searching for a way to fix his hands, even if it is through the Dark Arts, which he doesn’t believe in at first. Basically, he travels the world to find a way to mend his hands, until he is introduced to the Dark Arts.
Here we see Rachel McAdams playing a character that has not be revealed yet. We can assume that she knows him because she looks to be a nurse and maybe she is going to help him. This is actually a lot more of his origin than we were expecting to get and we’re not sure who his romantic interest can be as of yet. We’re just going to assume it is her.
Dang, he had a very, Very, VERY bad day.
Yo Rocky how many rounds did you make?
A good look at Benedict Cumberbatch staring out a window. This was before the accident. We do know that he was kind of a jerk before and his accident humbled him.
He’s in a very emotional state right now. After the accident, and unsure of what to do now and where to go with his life.
Cool look at a religious monument. Not sure where it is. We don’t think it is the Ancient One’s Tibetan Palace because this looks more like a town or monastery.
Mordo is out on the TOWN!
Okay, so who is Mordo?
Mordo is the Ancient One’s star pupil until Steven Strange comes into the picture. Eventually these two will become enemies, but we think in this movie they will be a team of sorts.
The Ancient One waits patiently to speak with Steven. She is standing on a seal which for some reason reminds of us of the tesseract.
A better look at the Ancient One who will teach Strange the old magic.
Magic! The Ancient One is literally pushing his soul out of his body. Cool Shot.
This is what an out of body experience looks like.
Mads Mickleson is heading of to the Nexus. which is a way of seeing all realities in one. We still have not had confirmation on what villain he is portraying. Our guess is either Nightmare or Dormammu.

Strange is joining Mordo on the TOWN!

He has the beard and the crazy hair going. Begging to have his hands fixed, but is chosen as a student instead. This short experience has obviously intrigued him and he is now a believer.

The Red Capes are Coming, The Red Capes are Coming. Probably the most epic part.
The RED CAPE. That is really amazing to see.
It is his most iconic part of his character other than his graying hair.
