Big Changes to Mirror Master in The Flash

When we heard that Mirror Master was coming to Central City in The Flash Season 3, we were pretty excited, but this news makes us rather…meh.

According to producer Todd Helbing, the new Mirror Master’s powers won’t be reliant on technology. It remains to be seen how his abilities will differ from the comic book character, or if the new version will have powers the original never displayed.

“He’s a true meta,” producer Todd Helbing explains, “but he’s not necessarily warping into other dimensions.”

In the comics,  Sam Scudder ( the first Mirror Master) used his technical prowess to create the Mirror Master costume and gadgetry, which granted him the ability to travel through mirrors (among other abilities).

We are a little cautious of this change, but we do have faith in The Flash writers and producers, so we’ll keep an open mind.
