The Defenders Cast Grows

The Defenders just started shooting, but we seem to get new information every day on the Marvel Netflix crossover series event. The announcement that a trio of familiar faces will definitely make themselves known in The Defenders are going to be none other than Claire Temple, Trish Walker, and Stick.

Recently, it was confirmed that The Defenders would be bringing back Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson, who will likely show up with Carrie-Anne Moss’ Jeri Hogarth (previously announced), as well as Simone Missick’s standout Luke Cage lead Misty Knight and Eka Darville’s strange Jessica Jones neighbor Malcolm Ducasse. But the most interesting casting news of all came when it was revealed that Sigourney Weaver would be joining the MCU for the first time as The Defenders‘ main villain, though her exact role is being kept under wraps for now.
