Green Lantern Corp. News

Seppin swears that whenever he wears his Green Lantern shirt, news or rumors hit the web about the upcoming movie. Well, last night, low and behold, not only was Seppin wearing his shirt yesterday, but news hit of a possible director.

According to sources, Warner Bros. is looking at  Rupert Wyatt (Rise of The Planet of The Apes) to direct the picture. Word is, the former Gambit director, has cleared his schedule and is very excited to helm this project. David Goyer is still the rumored writer for the script and we now have a casting call breakdown of what they are looking for:

Hal Jordan: Caucasian, 39 – 50. A former military test pilot, he is now a veteran of the Green Lantern Corps.

John Stewart: African- American male, 21 – 30. Prior to joining the Green Lantern Corp, he was a sniper in the military.

It seems like the earlier rumors of a buddy-cop Lethal Weapon style set in space is what we may be getting.

Seppin just wants Hal. He’s still looking…with Kal…
