Comic-Con News

So, you may be wondering why has news been so slow lately? Well, it’s very simple. Comic-Con is in a few weeks and we suspect the major players are keeping what they are going to unveil there a big, fat secret from us.

We do have the schedule now and as we did last year, we will be bringing you updates as soon as they are released.

Saturday is the big day for DC and Marvel. DC kicks it off in Hall H around 11:30 and it scheduled to go for about an hour and a half. That will lead into the Arrowverse before finally Marvel’s event later in the evening.

What do we expect to see?

We know we’re getting a Justice League trailer and we also will have our first look at Aquaman. We’re not sure if we’re getting footage from that or just a quick tease. We have also heard we may finally be getting a new movie schedule and we also believe we are going to hear more about the DC streaming service, which we think may lead into a bunch of casting announcements for Teen Titans.

Also, there may be director announcements for movies, such as The Flash. We would love a Green Lantern casting, but we’re not getting our hopes up. Perhaps more details on Justice League Dark? Nightwing? Batgirl? Gotham City Sirens?

That may be too much to hope for, but we’re crossing our fingers.

As far as Marvel goes, we heard this morning that they are going to have a 90 minute panel which is highly unusual for them, but we’re excited to see what they will bring. We’re going to assume a Thor: Ragnarok trailer and maybe a full length Black Panther. We also think we are getting an Avengers: Infinity War tease.

We just pray, unlike last year, that Marvel will release these teases or trailers online immediately.

Thursday though will be Marvel’s day to unveil footage from their Netflix shows and we are pretty sure we’ll see a final Defenders trailer and possibly a Punisher trailer.

It’s going to be an amazing four day event and we will be working tirelessly to keep you updated!
