First look at CW’s Freedom Fighters

This morning we were surprised to see that CW’s new animated series, Freedom FIghters: The Ray, had a teaser out.

In case you are unaware, The Ray is a character that can harness the power of light. The Ray is the first gay superhero to lead his own series in the comics and now in the animated universe too. CW is currently casting someone to play the Ray so that he can appear on Legends of Tommorow, much like Vixen.

We think the whole idea of Earth X is awesome. It is similar to Wolfenstien in the sense that the Nazis won the war and the world sucks. We can’t wait to see what becomes of these heroes.
