Hey everyone! Seppin and Rek are here with some more DC news concerning James Gunn’s Suicide Squad. HBO Max just announced that a spinoff series is in the works featuring John Cena’s character Peacemaker.
James Gunn is set to write the eight episodes and the pilot episode for the series and will explore the origins of Peacemaker’s character.
“the series will explore the origins of the character that Cena will play in the upcoming film, a man who believes in peace at any cost — no matter how many people he has to kill to get it. The series will extend the world that Gunn is creating for The Suicide Squad movie, which is scheduled to be released in theaters by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 6, 2021.“
F#ck! It’s Peacemaker! What a strange character? Really interested to see how Gunn adapts his character from the comics since he was supposed to be haunted by his Nazi Death Commandant father…
