Splinter Cell Anime Revealed

Hey everyone! Yesterday was a busy day with varying video game reveals and it is only going to get more wild with E3 in full swing. However, yesterday gave fans their first look at Netflix’s anime based on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell video game franchise.

Derek Kolstad, creator of the John Wick franchise, is onboard to write the series.

“Adult animation is one of the most powerful ways to pay tribute to the culture and community of gaming,” said Juguet, managing director of Ubisoft Film & Television – Paris. “It is truly inspiring to partner with creative talents such as Adi Shankar and Derek Kolstad to re-imagine our worlds for Netflix.”

It was also confirmed that Kolstad has eight episodes set for the series and Adi Shankar is working on another anime based on the Far Cry series.
