It looks like we have another major casting in Justice League. William Dafoe will join the league and all we know is that he is going to play ‘a good guy.’
While there was little information given, we do know he will be in both Justice League Part One and Justice League Part Two.
You know what that means…it is time for the speculating to begin. There are a ton of random theories being thrown around over the last twenty-four hours and we have decided to join the fray. We talked and debated before we whittled our list down to five.
5. Tom Curry
Tom Curry is the father of Aquaman. It’s probably unlikely that William Defoe is playing this character, but it does set up Aquaman’s background, as well as, his future solo movie.
4. Etrigan
Etrigan is a demon who got cursed by the witch Morgan Le fey in the medieval times. He is an immortal because he is forced to be haunted by the demon for the rest of his life. Don’t be fooled by his picture, he is actually a good guy. Pretty cool character and he would definitely lead up to a great segue into Justice League Dark.
3. Highfather
Highfather is the leader on the planet New Genesis of the New Gods. This would make a lot of sense since we are going to get Darkseid as a villain.
2. Martian Manhunter
This is Seppin’s pick, although it’s somewhat illogical.
I just really want to see Martian Manhunter and William Defoe could voice him pretty well.
1. Agent Faraday
Agent Faraday is the most likely choice in our opinion. He is an agent from an unknown branch of the government and he is the liaison to the Justice League. It would make sense that they would introduce him in the first movie, probably near the end as the team is formed, because they will need someone in the government on their side.
