Monday Draft: Gaming Edition

Monday Draft

Today’s Monday Draft we will be focusing on our top picks for gaming characters that we would love to see in a movie.

Let’s get right into it!

Aiden Pierce

It’s no secret Seppin loves Watchdogs and we have heard rumors that they are trying to develop this game onto the big screen.

Stephen Amell

We hadn’t really considered Stephen Amell until last week’s Arrow episode and then a light bulb came over our heads. The episode had his character Oliver Queen ditching his Green Arrow costume during the day as he broke into his former company Queen Enterprises. He wore a hat slung over his eyes and a scarf covering half of his face.

We knew right then he was the perfect choice.

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg would be a good choice because he has experience with video game movies (Max Payne) and he could definitely play the gritty role if they wanted to go with someone older and more experienced.

Ezio Auditore

We would love to see the older version of Ezio from Assassin’s Creed. We’ve never seen an assassin grow that old other than Altair and to see him searching for his ancestor would be pretty cool to see.

Christian Bale

There is really only one actor that we could think of to play this iconic role and that is Christian Bale. How awesome would it be to have the Dark Knight as the master assassin with Fassbender’s Magneto?

Gerald Butler

Since we had to pick two, we also came up with Gerald Butler. He would do a decent job, but not quite as epic as Christian Bale.

Mirror’s Edge

Mirror’s Edge is an action packed parkour game. The main character, Faith, is part of a group of dystopian ‘runner’s’ that have to transmit messages while evading government surveillance.

Keiko Kitagawa

Keiko Kitagwa starred in Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift and we think she could handle playing this strong, female character role.

Ai Hashimoto

Ai Hashimoto has the look to play Faith and she is also a highly regarded young actress in Japan.

Scrub’s Pick

The Scrub picked Keanu Reeves for the role of Aiden Pierce.

Since Keanu Reeves basically destroyed one of my favorite comic book character’s movies (Constantine) I am not going to even comment on this choice.-Seppin
