Fathom Events has added an additional night to screen the movie Batman: The Killing Joke due to popular demand!
This is the official announcement:
“Due to unprecedented demand, a second date and two additional show times have been added. Participating locations for July 26 are limited and ticketing is being set up continuously so click on the orange “Buy Tickets” button to purchase today. If online ticketing is not available for your location, please check back often or visit the local movie theater box office.”
You can go here to find a theater & purchase tickets.
The special screening — taking place at 7:30pm and 10:00pm (local time) on Monday, July 25 and now Tuesday, July 26 — will include a presentation of the feature, in addition to a never-before-seen documentary about Mark Hamill’s fandom of the source material and his passion for the animated project. The event will also feature a behind-the-scenes look at Joker’s song and dance number in the film. “The Killing Joke” is being remastered in 2K for the presentation.
Warner Bros. Animation’s Batman: The Killing Joke stars Kevin Conroy as Batman, Mark Hamill as the Joker, Tara Strong as Barbara Gordon and Ray Wise as Commissioner Gordon. Directed by Sam Liu (“Justice League vs. Teen Titans”), the film comes from a script by Eisner Award-winning writer Brian Azzarello. Bruce Timm and Sam Register are executive producers, and Alan Burnett is co-producer.
“Batman: The Killing Joke” will be available for Digital HD download on July 26, and arrives on Blu-ray/DVD on August 2.
So, now the question is, do we go to both showings?
