One of the biggest announcements at Comic-Con this year was the DC confirming that The Flash movie was going to be called Flashpoint. The Flashpoint story being told pretty much blew us away and we’ve been eagerly looking forward to any news concerning the movie.
Variety is reporting that the script has been handed in, but we still do not have a director. Geoff Johns has said his first choice is Robert Zemeckis, but so far there has been no confirmation on that front. We have also heard Sam Raimi and Matthew Vaughn’s names being tossed around as well. We suspect since the script is done, we should be hearing about someone directing and we hope it is soon because we are so looking forward to a Flash movie!
