X-23 Movie?!

Is there a chance we might actually get X-23 on the big screen?

According to Logan director James Mangold, it is entirely possible. The director confirmed that Daphne Keen’s amazing take on the character has prompted the studio to seriously consider a solo movie and it is right now in the beginning stages.

It seems we have Wonder Woman to thank for it, which makes perfect sense, after all it is Wonder Woman.

“Patty [Jenkins’] success with [Wonder Woman] only solidifies more for studios that there’s less to fear with a female protagonist,” says Mangold. “The more that keeps getting hit home, that ends up giving me more space turning around and going, ‘Well here we are with a female protagonist. That’s incredible. And what are we going to do with her?’ And that’s where we are with that [the Laura script] right now, dreaming.”

There have been no details on what other mutants may show up, but can you imagine a Deadpool/X-23 team-up?

Now, that would be amazing…inappropriate, but amazing.
