Aquaman is all over Entertainment Weekly!

We’eve all been waiting for an Aquaman trailer to drop ever since it was first shown at CineEurope. Sadly, we don’t have that to share with you today.

However, we do have images from the newest Entertainment Weekly magazine and it offers a first look for many of the characters in Aquaman. Check it out below.

Our first image is a side view of the infamous Black Manta helmet. Although he isn’t the main villain of the film, He is notorious in the Aquaman mythos.

That’s pretty freaking awesome enough!

But wait there’s more. The next image has some beautiful colors and gives us our first look at Orm, AKA Ocean Master. We still don’t know what the story seems to be, but it looks pretty freaking cool if we get a moment between the half-brothers like this.

Aquaman faces off with his ambitious half-brother King Orm (Patrick Wilson) who wants to declare war on the surface world.

The next image appears to be on a sunken pirate ship and gives us a look at Mera and Aquaman standing next to the director, James Wan. We can also see Willem Dafoe’s Vulko. Again, the color palate looks really amazing and makes the film appear more like an adventure similar to Wonder Woman.

James Wan directs Heard and Momoa inside a galleon as they encounter Aquaman’s mentor Vulko (Willem Dafoe).

The next shot shows us Nicole Kidman protecting a young Arthur Curry, perhaps we will see and origin of sorts.

The last image takes place above the water and features our two Protagonists plotting a course. It looks like Mera is holding some sort of map, so perhaps that has something to do with the major plot of the film. They both look great and we are all super excited to see what happens in Aquaman.

Arthur Curry and Mera (Amber Heard) embark on a quest on the surface world.

What do you think?
